I've tried two and neither worked for my dog

I have had a PetSafe collar on one of my dogs for many years. Battery life was terrible but the collar worked great until the battery cover broke. I ordered this because I love that it's rechargeable but my dog barks through it. I thought maybe there was something wrong with the collar so I sent it back and bought a new one. Doesn't work on my dog either. It's too late to return it now and I can't figure out how to contact the seller here so I believe I have a very expensive collar that is not effective for my dog.
