Review on OHOCO Wool Pressing Mat Quilting by Angela Rodriguez

Don't buy or listen to the reviews ruins my quilt too! Pooh!

Too bad. I have been sewing for over 30 years and have always wanted a wool rug. I don't know anyone who has one that I could try. I've noticed some people have mentioned this on their iron, but I wanted the mat so bad I gave up. I even foolishly dismissed a review from a lady who said it ruined her comforter. Yeah, you better believe it Ruined my ceiling too. This is a kind of black film that forms quite quickly if you iron it directly onto the carpet. It can be difficult to get it off the iron. I found that the Rowenta cleaner was able to remove the material-like black sludge from my iron. Not so happy with my blanket. So I'm trying to figure out why this is happening. At first I noticed that I would be fine if I ironed directly onto the fabric without the iron touching the mat. But most of us iron past the edges of our pieces, where the slow build-up of iron begins. I didn't notice the build up until I was ironing my comforter and noticed black streaks on it. I checked immediately and there was a black substance on my iron. I'll see if I can get it back. It really pressed on the details, but I tried several times to confirm that it was indeed the checkmate that was causing the clustering.
