I'm one of those people who grew up with a portable heater at their feet during the cold months. After moving to a new place I had to throw away my old one as it got destroyed during shuffling. I chose this model because of the reviews and the price. However, I didn't pay close attention to the dimensions of the actual device. On the day of delivery I received a small box from Revain, only to open it to find an even smaller heater box inside. While cursing myself all the way up the stairs, I decided to try this little heater. Unfold, screw on plastic handle and legs, plug in, and BOOM, instant heat! This little yellow box gives off some heat, and at a wide angle too! It is very light, makes a robust impression and is quite quiet. To be honest I felt like my whole apartment was getting a little warmer, not hot but definitely a little warmer than it was. Note that if you actually take the time to read the manual, you are advised to unplug the device when not in use. I suspect this is because the fan stays on when you press the power button to turn it off. It is no problem for me. Anyway this little box was perfect for my needs and my cold feet, I would definitely recommend it for a small apartment or under your desk.
