The fitting is not drilled out to the end!
Fitting not completely drilled through! This kept me troubleshooting for hours. I couldn't believe that of all the fittings I could get, one was made either at the factory on Monday morning or at 4:55pm on Friday. Poor quality, unusable item. I had to drill the hole myself.
