Review on Baby Play Mat with Kick Piano and Bear Rattle - Activity Center for 0-12 Months, Baby Floor Mat with Music Toys by Susan King

Terrible quality for activities and entertainment

I bought this for my sister in law and here is her review: When you open the play mat you can see that it is made of very cheap and light plastic so it doesn't feel durable or high quality on. However, at nearly $30, I was still hoping it would be better than it is. There weren't any instructions for this, so I used the picture on the box as the building guide. Luckily, it was easy to put together and only took about ten minutes. The soundbar is powered by 3 AAA batteries that you install yourself and after inserting the batteries you connect the soundbar to two plastic parts by screwing them with the plastic screws that come with the kit (one on each side). I think I have a broken one because even if you screw the soundbar into plastic parts it still comes out and won't stay in place as you can see in the photos. With constant loosening, the entire toy will not stand up and the toys will hang lower than they should. The toys hanging from the pole are cute but not soft. Well, this is definitely a problem with my young child as hard toys always get close to her face as it always flaps lower than it should no matter how many times I keep turning the screws. The carpet fits well underneath, but is very thin and poorly finished. The soundbar plays lots of different tones and music when you press it, but at times it feels too loud and doesn't have any volume-down settings. Overall I was very dissatisfied with this gaming pad and if you are looking for one I would not spend my money on this particular one.
