The Panamax MIW-SURGE-1G Single Gang Surge Protector I purchased appeared to have a valid serial number (the serial number on the box matched the one on the device matched) but the vendor was not listed by Panamax. I asked the vendor if they are an official dealer and they did not answer that question. I have several Panamax products including two of their "linear conditioners" and they seem to be great products.The seller offered to accept the return but I decided to keep the device for myself.I also agree with other reviewers that this device takes up quite a bit of space in the box.
