Review on Sony HX400V Compact Digital Camera: Capturing Brilliance with 50x Optical Zoom in Black by Mura Mura Chun ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

I have been choosing between the HX300 and HX400 models for a long time. Successfully bought HX400 for 20 thousand. I bought in the majority for landscape photography in various conditions. I am satisfied with the quality of the photo, but I always process the pictures in Lightroom. If you need a good camera with photo quality close to basic DSLRs, this is the best option. My overall score is 4.5 Removed 0.5 points due to glare

Pros
  • + zoom + stabilization + photo quality +NOT autoflash +shooting modes + aperture is not 2.8-6.3 as it is written in the characteristics on the Market, but 2.8-8.0 (with manual settings), which is undoubtedly better +NFS + there is noise reduction, unlike the younger model +manual focus change + decent battery life
Cons
  • - glare when shooting against the sun, even with anti-reflective lens coating -not very high-quality plastic case (does not affect the quality of the photo) - there is no rope on the lens cap (the problem is easily solved, there is a holder for the lens cap in many online stores from 50 to 200, there are no problems to find) -average quality viewfinder (I personally never use it) -due to the small matrix, photos in the dark are not of very high quality, the problem disappears completely if you use a tripod and slow shutter speeds when shooting, lowering the ISO below 400-320, you get great pictures

If you are not a fan photographer, and do not want to delve into long settings (DSLRs), then this camera is for you.
