I bought these headphones for my husband not knowing if he would like them but decided to try them out especially since I got them at a great price in a lightning deal. He is a veteran of the Iraq war and has fairly severe post-traumatic stress disorder and severe insomnia. He tried every sleeping pill he could think of and the last dose the doctor gave him said to KO the elephant and it did next to nothing for him. He likes to fall asleep to loud noises, especially jet engines or heavy metal music, but as you can imagine I can't sleep to those kinds of noises. I got them for him a week ago and he said it was the first time he had slept through the night in years. He also has to sleep with a CPAP machine and says the mask works for that too. Yesterday he went to his magician (therapist) and thanks to this amazing sleep mask he was able to get rid of 2 medicines, 1 against sleep and 1 against nightmares! He said he put a lot of thought into the design and was very happy with the big difference that changed the quality of his sleep. I'll probably order at least 1 or 2 more for us to keep as a reserve or he can keep it in his suitcase as he travels for work quite often. He's been telling all his friends about this and wants to tell even more vets who may have trouble sleeping!
