First of all, the printer comes with a small quick start guide that doesn't mention installing a printer driver or label printing software. The instructions only tell you how to physically connect the printer to power and a computer. The package contains a USB flash drive with drivers, printer software and user manuals. The problem is that none of the user manuals were on the USB stick for the printer model I received. I have some experience with this type of label printer and have been able to set up the printer and test its capabilities. The printer prints crisp, clear labels that are suitable for most purposes. The printer is easy to use, but the software that comes with it is a "lite" version and somewhat rudimentary. Everything else requires an upgrade to the paid version. You can use other lettering software, which is what I did. I would rate this label printer 4 stars. However, the lack of proper guidance compels me to lower my rating to 3 stars.
