Review on Dorman 932 201 Driveshaft Joint Kit by Josh Schaefer

The boot is junk and without a quality boot, the quality of the rest doesn't matter. I ordered the part on November 6th, 2013, it was installed in a few days. Now 10 months have passed and judging by the complaints of the customer (mother-in-law) the shoe has been torn for at least two months. This means that he served only 8 months. Dorman normally supplies quality components which I have no hesitation in purchasing and using in my cars, but this one is seriously wrong. Dorman is the only supplier of this part and this part is very important because you can't buy a constant velocity joint from Ford, you can only buy the entire driveshaft for almost $600. Dorman if you're listening please improve the quality of the case material and then send me a new kit and I'll be happy to update my review and compliment your responsiveness to your customers.
