This setup will most likely give you heartache! In hindsight, I wouldn't install (or buy) this part if I knew which PITA would be the correct install. You'll need to drill two "blind" holes in the OEM polypropylene rear fender to install it and hope they line up with the holes on the fender extension that you can't see that are in the bike's rear fender condition. These parts have multiple contours and the clearance between these parts and the tire is less than 1 inch. The lack of a drilling template in the instructions, the fittings that are too short and badly plated, the lousy instructions and the lousy installation method: If the owner of a $30,000 bike doesn't want it, the manufacturer isn't doing them any favors! I could hardly get it right. I still think I put a rivet in the rear mat to keep the extension from spinning on the mounting bolts and hitting the fast spinning tire! I do NOT advise against buying it. That's a good product idea, just a lousy product execution! I hope BBP sees this review and at least starts including the template!
