I have had chronic dandruff since childhood. I have tried many many OTC products and they all seemed to work for a few days but it never fully worked and eventually the product stopped working altogether. At some point over the years I just gave up. . I thought nothing could help and I never wanted to take the time to see a specialist. After an extremely frustrating breakout caused me to look for new products, I found Nizoral. After the first application I was amazed. Dandruff has become much less, the head has stopped itching. I've been using this product for about three weeks now as directed and have NO dandruff or itching. The shampoo smells good too. My only gripe is that the shampoo feels a bit dry so I just start using the conditioner as needed. I'm so glad I got rid of the scale! Addendum: 3 years later. I still have to use this product once a week or sometimes every two weeks to get my dandruff under control. I only took breaks so I could have flare-ups for a few weeks. I've also tried new medications and they still don't help. Three years later, this is still the only product that works for me.
