I have thick, healthy hair that reaches my mid-back. Sometimes you want to keep your hair out of your face. It's nice to have something minimal and simple other than a headband. I was looking for something elegant, simple and durable. I have thick hair that is healthy and reaches the middle of my back. I love how this set looks like a modern take on the timeless claw clip. These are rectangular clips with square edges. Some have a matte finish. They feel strong and easily hold my thick hair. They are much larger than the average clip. I was surprised to see how long they've been live. So far I'm happy with the quality and the look. They match the description and are a good choice. To update. Unfortunately, the pen can rust on the back. I left my clip in the shower overnight, attached to the shower rod as I often do, and found that the pin on the back was slightly rusty. It can't be exposed to high humidity or wet, which is not good for pinning my hair up while taking a shower or leaving it in the shower. Other clamps I use can do this. Suggestions for improvement: Use a safety pin that won't rust, as women often use them while showering or in the shower.
