I didn't drive the car once before it completely ripped at the seam on the back of the front seats. My dog isn't too keen on the back seat, he paces back and forth from time to time but mostly just sits in the middle with his head on the center grille. You don't have time to return or buy a new one. It's great for covering a seat if your dog weighs less than 20 pounds, and even that might be too much for stitching. The fabric has literally been pulled out of the seam so the seams just can't take any load. So why did you do the stitching there is beyond me. UPDATE: I used hot glue to hold the seam together hoping it would stand up to the travel. The hot glue was phenomenal and held together like a champ 4 hours later in the car and the seam was still holding up. Unfortunately, the fabric itself is cheap. I don't know what I was expecting at this price point, I think months of use would be good, but not just a car ride. Added more photos to see the hot glue and the other side after the ride.
