The dimensions given are correct. The fabric is stiffer than other Baggallini bags as the material is more like durable canvas than nylon bags. Good news, the shoulder strap doesn't slip off unless I'm carrying a crossbody bag, bad news, it's a bit heavier. Inside the back zip is a small pocket with an elasticated top (approx. 2" x 3"), perfect for keys, lip balm and the like. I love the straight front and back zippers for easy one-handed access, and the bottom of these two outside zippered compartments extend to the bottom of the entire bag, making it more durable when standing. The color of the stone is more gray, which I like better.
