I don't need to buy another ceiling fan.
I thought I had to buy another ceiling fan. I googled how to fix this and the only thing that kept coming up was something about the remote control. The fan was running via the wall switch but the light would not come on. Changed bulbs and everything. The remote control lights up when the button is pressed, but the light still does not light up. So I order this remote control of the same model as mine. I put a battery in it. Pressed the light button and it lit up.
