Review on ๐Ÿ”ฒ Spornette Carry On Wooden Handle Oval Cushion Brush - 30cm by Rachel King

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Best travel brush I've ever used

I purchased this brush in 2004 from Paddington Station in London. There was a hair salon on the top floor, and I've never seen so many drunk men in suits pass out in a train station. However, I was desperate for a quality haircut in an English speaking country, so circumstances prompted me to discover this little hair gem. Fast forward about ten years later and my favorite brush has kind of disappeared over the years. From time to time I looked for a brush similar to this one and eventually it popped up in my Revain quest. My wife, my girlfriend at the time when I was in London, was also happy that I rediscovered this brush. Not sure if it's a real wood handle but it definitely looks like it, which is a great departure from all the plastic stuff today. The previous brush was of such quality that not a single bristle broke. I'm also a big fan of the light weight and comfort. The short handle becomes a natural extension of the hand. Our daughter also likes the brush and tries it out, so the small size is an advantage for younger children. I hope this review helps you in your choice. The price is the only downside as there is a very close plastic version called the Nexxus Style Effexx Travel which is much, much cheaper but doesn't have the looks and comfort but essentially the same functionality.
