Update: Bought a second bike, looks just as good as the first and both my girls love to ride it all day. I have 16 inches for my 6 and 4 year olds and my 4 year old easily reaches the pedals on the lowest settings. Great bike, my daughter loves it. 16" is a great size for a 5 year old and will probably last her for a few years. Pretty durable. The weight is great for a small child, not too heavy to move alone and not light to a good one to ensure stability.lightweight ensemble
