Update: Bought a second bike, looks just as good as the first and both my girls love to ride it all day. I have 16 inches for my 6 and 4 year olds and my 4 year old easily reaches the pedals on the lowest settings. Great bike, my daughter loves it. 16" is a great size for a 5 year old and will probably last her for a few years. Pretty durable. The weight is great for a small child, not too heavy to move alone and not light to a good one to ensure stability.lightweight ensemble

This bike is very overpriced due to the build quality. All bearings were overtightened and none were lubricated. I spent more time fixing the bike than building it. I had to disassemble everything, lubricate all the bearings, repair the discs and replace them with pedals. My daughter loves his style and helped me fix this bike so she can ride it for the first time. That being said I sent the first one back for a replacement and it was worse so we fixed it. This bike is fantastic and my daughter loves it. A win-win situation. It is very durable and I think it will be passed on to my other children. Took me about 30-45 minutes to assemble it myself (and I'm no good at all!). were clearer, but it's pretty easy to understand. The training wheels took a few tries to tighten enough, be sure to use your own wrench! FYI: The basket is plastic and doesn't match the quality of the bike. I read other comments complaining about the lack of setup instructions so maybe I was lucky or they started adding them but my box had a cute little pop up Booklet with stickers, kids activities and instructions were very simple and straight forward. Even the wrench multi-tool they sent was shaped like a fish for added appeal.
