Review on Van Ness Control Translucent Enclosed by Tamika Lawrence

We have been using this tray for a few weeks now. We started with a similar pan from the same manufacturer, except the top was solid rather than clear (translucent) like this pan. One cat used it, and the second cat wrinkled the little princess' nose and continued to use the open box. Our vet mentioned that some cats don't like a solid closed box because they feel vulnerable if their line of sight is broken, so we bought this box. It was exactly what the princess wanted and now she uses it almost exclusively. Switching from an open drawer to a closed drawer means less litter being thrown out of the drawer, less litter in the room, and less odors. I still draw every day. The box is big enough for my tall 15 lb kitten who is tall compared to most cats, but the door is low enough for a petite 9 lb girl to easily walk in. box and it arrived in perfect condition from the seller. The top is attached to the bottom box with four latches, which are very strong and also close tightly with the insert. The largest Johnny Cat liners fit perfectly in this box and appear to be thicker than those sold by Van Ness. Our pride gives him two paws. high!
