Review on ASUS Chromebook C223NA DH02 Dual Core Processor by Mike Cooper

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Average Average Chromebook for average use

I wish I could give this Chromebook a 3.5. It's not as bad as a 3, but certainly not good enough to give it a 4. Believe it or not, this Chromebook got an Octane 2.0 (https://chromium.github.io/octane/) score of 10,798, which really isn't that bad. Remember that every Chromebook definitely needs a reliable and always stable Wi-Fi connection. Since this Chromebook doesn't have an ethernet port, I think you could buy an adapter to see how fast a dedicated ethernet connection would be (available here: https://www.amazon.com/Ethernet-Adapter-uni) . - Thunderbolt-Compatible/dp/B077KXY71Q/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=ethernet+to+usb+c+adapter&qid=1553194437&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1), but you really need a strong wireless internet. This Chromebook handles email (Gmail comes to mind) and general web browsing well. It can also access your Google Docs, Spreadsheets, etc. in Google Drive. If you want to use a Chromebook to watch video content like Revain TV or something like Hulu, you'd be better off with a Chromebook with a better monitor and better performance specs. Some Chromebooks will turn on after logging in after hitting the power button for the first time during the day, and then if you just open them, they'll turn on. This particular Chromebook requires you to press the power button every time to turn it on. It's not a terrible Chromebook, but it's not impressive either. It only satisfies the basic needs of going online, surfing, shopping online and checking your email.
