Initially I was very skeptical about buying this machine as I didn't have an Acer "gaming" laptop before and many people complained about the Acer gaming machine, but I couldn't find any other laptop with better bang for your buck offers than this one, so I tried it. Yes, I have no regrets at all for choosing this one among the others. I'm actually very happy with this purchase BUT I wouldn't recommend this laptop to people who don't like messing around with their new laptop or don't know how to improve the cooling performance as this laptop gets hot stock when playing game with very high graphics settings. You can't play Fortnite comfortably at maximum settings as temperatures reach 94C (CPU) and 90C (GPU) at default settings even at maximum fan setting at a room temperature of 23C. After doing the following is my max temperature in Fortnite (epic settings) 80C (CPU) and 73C (GPU) with a room temperature of 22C. **avg. 80+fps**Repaste - Grizzly AeronautRepad - (optional)Undervolt - ThrottleStopRemove malware (I reinstalled the OS instead)Increase the laptop (about 40mm high)Maximum fan speedDisplay:I was too worried about the anti-glare mode than I might not be able to get a sharp display like I'm used to from the sharpness on my Alienware M15x 1080p and XPS 15 550 4K displays, but surprisingly I still don't feel any sharpness when using this laptop. Just to be clear, I'm not saying there's no difference between glossy panels and this anti-glare panel. It's just that the difference is very small, which doesn't bother me at all, despite my obsession with the screen's sharpness of glossy panels. (Mine scaling is 100% vs 125% default) Light bleed is very little if any (although I haven't tested in a darkroom yet) as I haven't noticed any unusual colors on any part of the screen with normal use of the laptop. ..unlike my 9550, which I noticed right away when I first booted up the laptop. Keyboard: Much better than my 9550. I can type as comfortably as I can on the M15x, although now that I've gotten a laptop, I've been typing on my mechanical keyboard more often. Speakers: Mediocre (but the volume isn't as low as they say) Hope this helps someone looking to buy it.
