My dog feels safer in the car

My dog doesn't like car rides, stopped the whole drive and was very worried. Since she has this car seat she feels more secure with raised sides preventing her from slipping and can even lie down and rest her head on it. It will not move around the seat until securely fastened. I don't use the strap attached to the seat to hold her down as it doesn't feel as strong and secure as the separate strap I have for her that attaches to the seat belt and attaches to her seat belts. Overall we are very happy with it!
