my bird liked it. This is a ten month old Alexandrine Parrot. They love to chew and destroy things so this did the trick. It only took him two days to split all the logs he brought, but I'll be restoring it for him soon. I find if you buy blocks that are made and sold for guinea pigs and rabbits they last a lot longer and most of them are already drilled. I also added carabiner clips instead of the ones that came with the kit. Anyone who owns a real bird knows that changing clips isn't difficult as long as the toy can be made and used over and over again. This works great and other toys can also be attached. Again, I like to add kebab toys for guinea pigs and rabbits. We both love this toy so much that I want another spare to trade in once he's disassembled the other one. I see how I twist them. It also seems ideal for travel. My bird hates toys that hop around and bump into him while he's in the car. Not only does it attach to either end, it can also be used as a purchase, which is a huge plus for a travel pen where space is limited.
