We had two of these - the first was a gift and my kids loved it when we took it out of the box. Had a great time for about half an hour then turned off and put away. The next time we took it out, there was no noise. Replaced batteries but still no sound. Ordered a replacement as we thought it was defective - the new one still makes a sound but the orange circle button no longer registers any presses meaning games can no longer be played on it. Edit: Disassembled both for diagnostic purposes. The one that lost sound had the speaker wire disconnected from the motherboard due to poor soldering. The one where the round button had failed had a plastic switch broken off. I can't fix either of these. lame.
