This knife is stunning on its own. The handle is smooth, smooth and comfortable. The knife has an excellent weight and, like any chef's knife, wobbles slightly back and forth on the cutting board. Cutting and cooking food with it is a pleasure. This knife makes me feel like a pro chef and it has already become one of my favorites! I'm curious how it will hold up over time. I can't comment on how it holds up in the dishwasher as I always wash my knives by hand. I also ordered a 7 inch Landosan Santoku knife and will definitely be ordering more from the manufacturer when they sell out!
