I bought this stand based on a lot of positive reviews. It's well made judging by the photos, but I'm not impressed after putting it on the bike. It's probably height adjustable, but you can't do that without a rotary tool or angle grinder. The stand raises the rear wheel about four inches off the ground. This makes it impossible to use the jiffy stand when towing a trailer, which is the main reason I bought the jiffy stand. I suppose you could pry off the plastic legs and cut off a piece of pipe on each side with an angle grinder, but it seems like it would be difficult to do this without breaking the legs or having one leg longer than the other. In the top position, the footpeg rises about 2.5 inches off the ground, which makes turning very unsteady. It may be possible to grind some metal near the hinge to raise the footrest, but it's not necessary. The screw requires an 8mm hex wrench, which is not a very common tool. I'm not sure why they didn't use a hex bolt. There aren't too many things that could prevent the footpeg from rotating. The bolt hole fits snugly, but the top of the stand is just a flat piece of metal. If the footrest moves too far to the side (e.g. through contact with the ground during a curve), the pedal can bind and further aggravate the dangerous situation. I'd be happy to spend a little more for a decent stand.
