I have inspected the item inside and out and found some minor problems inside the item. The weight is a little heavy, but that's good. The exterior is in great shape and the handle is spot welded to the jug. Holds 13 cups of liquid and almost overflows the pitcher. So far this is a good jug compared to all the others I've seen in stores and online. I wash by hand with soap and hot water, haven't tried it in the dishwasher. Use it to hold tea.
