We bought this for our trip to China to adopt our little boy. It worked great. The fanny pack is very comfortable and fits well under the shirt. I'm a slim woman and it fit well although I had to tuck in the extra strap. My husband, of average build, wore the second and also liked the fit. it was still comfortable. The subtle plastic buckles don't dig into my skin, even when the baby is buckled in at the front. I hardly noticed even as we traveled south and the temperature rose to 80 degrees with 100 degrees humidity. While the weather was hot and miserable, there was no belt. The pockets easily fit a few passports, money/traveller's checks and a few folded papers. The only awkward thing was getting it in and out. While this is a great hiding place for your valuables - if you need to pull out a few bills to buy yourself a souvenir, it's a bit of a hassle to reach under your shirt to grab what you need. We used this to carry valuables during the day and my husband had a second wallet around his neck which we used to keep money and documents we thought we would need that day. In the end, I definitely recommend this item. We used it every day on our 3 week trip and it still looks brand new. I don't know what longer wear brings, but it will definitely last a few rides - at least.
