Do not buy! We've had an underground fence for 10 years, after that time and a fair number of breakdowns due to major incidents (well digging, tractor disk, etc.) we decided to replace the entire wire. We used this wire and within a month of replacing it we had 6 breaks. Disclaimer: We live in a village and these interruptions are due to wild animals digging up the wire. BUT we never had a problem with the old petsafe cable. I'm not sure what's in the coating on this cable, but it obviously attracts wildlife and has done a lot of damage in a very short amount of time. It's quite annoying after spending $$$ and many hours replacing the entire fence only to end up with more disruption than we originally replaced!
