I use them in old laptops. Customers who need an upgrade to a much older laptop usually get it on my recommendation. It's not as expensive as a Samsung drive, but it just gets the job done. and also on an older computer that cannot fully utilize the speed anyway. This computer was hooked up to an old Dell, which really made a big difference in boot times and usage. The customer was very satisfied and the price is difficult to argue. How do you compare value for money? An SSD of any kind is by far the cheapest and quickest upgrade you can make to a computer.
