Simply adding these fanless heatsinks resulted in a temperature drop of 1-2 degrees C on a Raspberry PI 4 with 4GB RAM at 23.3 degrees C - the board is tilted 45 degrees with some large ones open Enclosures ( glass, with open edges 55-56 ยฐC without heatsinks, 53-54 ยฐC with heatsinks This is a value for the internal temperature of the processor Adding a fan would drastically increase the cooling compared to the pure heat airflow A higher air temperature (or lower) may not be a linear relationship - I would expect lower ambient temperature to cause a bigger difference with heatsinks vs without them, and higher ambient temperature to do the opposite.None of these conditions have been tested CPU temperature only - it is assumed that other devices have similar cooling changes, use them, of course, but add add another fan. The price is nominal for additional cooling.
