Cuts fast and well but doesn't charge as fast as I thought it would. Cleans up easily with one of those white magic sponges and Comet Cleanser if needed. I have a translucent Arkansas hatchstone about the same size. It's faster. If you're used to Arkansas, this stone will take you a lot fewer passes to get the same job done. I still tweak it from time to time because it's so fast and I'm so attuned to how Arkansas works and I'm making way too many passes. So I tend to use that to get closer and Arkansas to get to the final edge. If you can't own both, I would go with Spyderco.
