What it should do: Use the iLink app to switch between 16000 static colors, use some presets to change colors automatically and play music. What it actually does: The app was last updated in mid-2019 and won't let you play music through it. You can use the color selection circle, but the colors don't match what you clicked in the interface. The preset red/green/blue/purple are fine, but yellow is greenish. Presets that flash colors or fade in a gradient are nice, but not necessarily what I would use. Although it flashes to the beat of the music, it is actually only blue-green and out of date. For those who want to use it as intended, it requires a few extra steps to make it work. First, and very importantly, you need to connect Bluetooth to a device called iLink, not the iLinkApp that may appear. Once iLink is connected, make sure "Use for audio device" is checked. Next, go to the iLink app and connect to the Bluetooth device "iLink app". I know it's illogical. Use another app to play music. For example, you can play directly from Google Drive, your device folders, Spotify, etc. While this is running in the background you can return to the iLink app and change the colors without interrupting the music. Much luck!
