After my first try with refillable cartridges failed (a lot of lint on my face after a few washes) I was wary but tried again. When they land on them they fit in a nice holder I have and the zipped laundry bag they come with is great. They have held up well to multiple washes, there was no fluff on my face and they did the job. When my friend who was staying overnight used them, she said they were great for makeup removal. In my case, I only use them to apply witch hazel. absorption is difficult. Yes, they absorb. And what it absorbs keeps the circle feeling moist for long enough for you to feel like you've put the product to good use. But if I add too much witch hazel too quickly, some of it will bead off the glass. But I like them, I've bought more and when more people in my family start using them I will buy them again!
