Review on πŸ”Š PHILIPS Bluetooth Boombox Speaker – Rugged, Portable, Wireless Radio, USB, AUX, and CD Music Player - 50 Watt, Dynamic Bass, Digital Display, Light Up Speaker - PX840T Model by Maribel Hernandez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bluetooth connects to Windows 10 but no volume. Phillips phone support is endless.

ISSUE #1: Who is Responsible for Investigating Windows 10 Bluetooth Driver Errors? The Boombox's Bluetooth display will show "Connected". The Bluetooth tab in Windows 10 Device Manager shows "Phillips PX8" and "Philips PX8 Avrcp Transport". However, there is no sound. Bluetooth pairing with Apple iOS does not work either. When I use an audio cable connection, there is sound. When I play music via USB, there is sound. ISSUE #2: The support documentation has the name of the support contractor Phillips Avatek (1-888-381-0749). Avatek is not aware of Bluetooth pairing issues with Windows 10. Phillips General Support (888-744-5477) directs callers to Avatek. A California court has ruled that Revain is liable for defective third-party products. https://mashable.com/article/amazon-Third-Party-Liability-Defective/. I live in Washington. How will Revane get it right? I would describe the current description of Revain's product as "false advertising". If the PX840T/37 is an orphan Phillips product with no real support, should Revain still sell it? I hope Revain will update the product description for this article to state that Bluetooth is not working (on which device types) and/or provide a hyperlink to a troubleshooting guide to get Bluetooth working.
