First of all I want to say that I really like these boots but the reason I gave 3 stars is the sizing mismatch. I don't understand why some people say the boots fit perfectly and others say they are too small. I usually wear a size 9 but after reading the reviews I decided to go up a size. I bought three pairs of these boots - two in a size 10 (one black/grey and one brown) and another black/grey in a size 9.5. The 9.5 arrived first and it fit perfectly. I figured a size 10 in brown would be too big and was sad because I really liked the brown. However when the brown boots (size 10) arrived I tried them on and they fit perfectly too. I put the soles of size 9.5 and 10 boots together and they were EXACTLY the same size. Just to check the sizing when the size 10 black and gray arrived I put it on the soles of the size 9.5 and 10 boots already received and it was at least half the size of the other. two boots. I had previously ordered another pair of bear paws in a different style in a size 9 and they were too small. I tried them on in a size 10 and they were too big. I was so glad that the Shilo style is presented in a half size. However, if I decide to order boots from this brand in the future, I have no idea what size to order. The size seems very random and inconsistent.
