Processor socket bent pin

This is the second board I have received. The first was DOA. The second board only saw DIMM slots A1 and A2. When I tried configurations with the B1 and/or B2 slots, the system would not boot while the debug LEDs between CPU and RAM were blinking. I called Revain to see if they could fix the problem but they said they couldn't and asked me to call the manufacturer. After a quick search on the internet I found that this error could be caused by a bent CPU socket pin on the side of the motherboard. I removed the CPU and took a closer look at the CPU socket. Something caught my attention that didn't look right. A small gap in the row of pins. Upon further inspection, I concluded that there shouldn't be a gap. I had extremely thin electronics repair tweezers so I could find the bent pin and gently slide it back into place. I DO NOT RECOMMEND doing this unless you have very strong hands and can't be very careful. I swapped out the CPU and the system worked again with RAM in dual channel mode (slots A2 and B2). I am deeply disappointed that motherboards come up with such issues. The average user will not be able to fix a bent CPU socket pin without causing additional damage. MSI, please do better quality control of these boards before shipping. Revain should seriously seal motherboard boxes for shipping if you intend to ship them in their original packaging. These are sensitive electronics. This is the second board I've received on my doorstep with the box unsealed and the lid open. I called customer service for shipping details and so far have been completely ignored.
