Review on Power Supply Cooler Master V750 Gold V2 Full Modular White Edition 750W (MPY-750V-AGBAG) white BOX by Adam Tomasz ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Does not meet my expectations, it was not worth buying.

In general, I was disappointed in this PSU. Not suitable for building quiet systems, the loud squeak of chokes is just crazy. In semi-passive mode at ~200 W load, the fan does not spin, but the PSU case gets very hot. My computer is turned on 24/7, I have to turn on the fan, but even at medium speeds it rumbles strongly. It doesn’t rumble on small ones, but it makes noise. Even the ZTE 750W, which had been plowed for 8 years, was quieter. Cables - Cooler Master, are you serious? They are very flexible and comfortable, but why couldn't they be brought straight to the connectors? They stick out like noodles. I think that for the gold series such shortcomings are unforgivable.

Pros
  • - modular - semi-passive mode - convenient flat cables - 10 year warranty - smooth 12 V in the load
Cons
  • - terrible squeak of throttles even without load - fan rattling - appearance of cables near connectors
