Ideal for standing, suitable for hanging with modifications.
Bought this frame in 5x7 and 8x10. Both worked well when seated on a table with their coasters. Hanging was a bit more difficult. The stand was still visible when the frame was hung on the wall. We had to remove the uprights from the frames with wire cutters. The frames themselves are very simple and elegant and perfectly display the artwork inside (we used ours to show the mixed media artwork) without overpowering the artwork. I would buy them again but would like to be able to buy without a coaster.
