When I first received them (ordered 2nd July 2020) I received a different type of basket in the same order. At first I thought I liked these Komax Biokips fridge storage boxes the best. Komax is a heavier plastic with tight-fitting lids, similar to Lock & Lock containers but much cheaper; also the komax is a lot bigger than the others i got that day so most of what we bought could go straight to one of them. After using both consistently for seven months I now prefer other, lighter and simpler plastic containers (search for: food storage containers, 3 x 1.5L fridge organizer with removable drain board, fruit, veg, meat, fish tray , etc. due to drops at the SILIVO store.) Part of my fondness is due to systemic arthritis, including my hands. I sometimes have a hard time putting the Komax lids on (they work like Lock & Lock but not as high quality so it can be tricky to line them up perfectly so they snap into place). My healthy husband and teenager don't seem to have any issues with Komax lids so if you're healthy they'll work for you! Be aware that Komax can be difficult. I've included a photo of my dirty fridge so you can see how the sizes compare. You'll find that the Komax won't snap into place because I couldn't close it myself that day. What I like most about these Komax containers is their size. They're larger than most refrigerator containers I've researched, and they make perfect use of the front and back space in my Sub-Zero side-by-side refrigerator. I can fit a large bag of 2# carrots from my Farmer Direct order in it as opposed to a smaller container which is easier for me to open. I often start with eating in it and then, as I get smaller, move on to smaller, lighter containers. correct part number!), I think they work a little better. However, you get two Komax containers for the same price, so weigh quality and price to decide what's best for you. We were very happy to receive them at the beginning of the pandemic when, fearing the surface, we threw away all the packaging as soon as possible. Transmission of COVID.
