I like the Miro air purifier. It has active air monitoring that monitors the air in real time and adjusts the fan speed accordingly. When I light a cigarette it takes about 30 seconds for the smoke to be detected and it increases the fan speed to take care of it and decreases the speed when the air quality picks up again. It's interesting to follow the air quality meter up so you can see what's affecting air quality. With 2 smokers, 2 cats and 2 dogs, he has his own job. It handles everything beautifully and looks stylish, I might add. Now to my problem, and I think it's a big one. It uses an RF chip to ensure you can only use the branded $75 each filters. I think if you want to get me to give you $75 every few months you should just hand over the filter assembly. I refer to cell phone providers. They give you a phone so they are guaranteed to use the service. Let's say you buy a phone. You can shop for the best carrier and without a contract. This filter is like buying a full-price cell phone, but you have to buy a 2-year contract. If you are willing to buy filters there then this is a great filter that works great. If you want to use universal filters (which cost a lot less) then this isn't for you.
