Suitable for fish and aquatic animals

Excellent for increasing the phosphate level in my aquarium. This in turn solved my problem with green algae (GSA) on glass, from what I read online it will. But I often have to give in a little, and I've almost emptied this bottle. Now I've switched to dry fertilizer because they are much cheaper. Just do your research and get the scale. I replaced a mountain of expensive fertilizer bottles that would cost me about $500-$800 over three years. I spent $50 on a three year supply to replace all those bottled fertilizers with dry ones. I did my research first, found a great online calculator and settled on a reliable online seller. A 100 gram scale in 0.01 increments is less than $10 on Amazon. Once you know and learn about dry fertilizers, using these fertilizers is very easy. It's actually easier because I mix a 2 month serving at a time and all I need is in 2 separate mixed bottles. Basically you make a macro fertilizer bottle and a tracer bottle (Plantex or similar). In fact, the most important decision you have to make is whether to use an Evaluation Index (EI) system or a PPS system. I chose PPS Pro (Perpetual Preservation System) because I don't like doing large water changes often. Sounds overwhelming, but a few hours of research and you're good to go. So I would recommend you to do the same as me if you have a very large aquarium with lots of plants. Start with bottle feeding to get comfortable, then continue drying when you feel ready.
