Really diluted, best for fish and aquatic animals

I dosed according to directions and never saw any measurable phosphate (with the API test kit). I doubled, tripled and still nothing. A dose of Fleet Enema enema (sodium biphosphate) was administered and the phosphate level was measured immediately. This stuff is pretty weak!

Plants grow like weeds

I use this product in combination with several other Seachem plant products. The plants in the photo were ordered online three months ago. They were all about 2-3 inches tall when received. It's amazing how well they're doing in such a short amount of time. I highly recommend following Seachem's daily plant nutrition plan.

Good things in fish and aquatic animals

I have been taking Seachem Nitrogen, Potassium and Fluorine for several months but have not dosed Phosphorus. I haven't bought it yet due to my limited budget. My plants were doing well but growth was slow. It was the missing piece of the puzzle and once I started using it the growth increased significantly. Plants thrive when you give them everything they need. In my experience, providing one without the other doesn't work.

Good stuff, just too expensive

I dose the aquarium with plants as well as root deposits. This is good stuff. Seachem makes great products. I dosed iron Monday/Wednesday/Friday, potassium Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday and phosphorus Sunday (anything) and all my plants thrived. After about 4 months of constant dosing, I barely had time to trim the plants. I have shortened my dosing schedule. Iron Tuesday. .Potassium on Friday. .Phosphorus every other Sunday. So far with great results. Regularly dosing a 120 gallon aquarium can get

Amazing growth! on Aquarium Water Treatment

This thing is easy to use, I love it. When I started taking Seachem Phosphorus I noticed a significant improvement in plant growth. My 80 gram densely stocked aquarium gets a lot of nitrate from the fish food. That's why I don't dose nitrogen. My phosphates were around 1ppm and nitrates around 15-30 before I started dosing phosphates. My fish food is low in phosphate. I feed New Life Spectrum small sinking pellets. I just need to dose Seachem Advance, Phosphorus, Iron, Potassium and that's itโ€ฆ

Phosphorus Eliminated Per Day GSA

Great stuff but a little watered down. They suggest dosing 2.5ml (half a cap) per 20 gallons once or twice a week. So if you dose it in 20 gallons twice a week, that 500ml bottle will last you about 1.9 years. This is for aquariums with plants or just to remove GSA (Green Spotted Algae). You can also add some nerity snails. You eat the GSA. This product makes it very easy to fertilize and with a small plant tank it will last a while. If you have a large aquarium I would suggest using a dryโ€ฆ

Suitable for fish and aquatic animals

Excellent for increasing the phosphate level in my aquarium. This in turn solved my problem with green algae (GSA) on glass, from what I read online it will. But I often have to give in a little, and I've almost emptied this bottle. Now I've switched to dry fertilizer because they are much cheaper. Just do your research and get the scale. I replaced a mountain of expensive fertilizer bottles that would cost me about $500-$800 over three years. I spent $50 on a three year supply to replace allโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some difficulties
