Does not seem to work at all. This is clearly a fake and did not come in a box or documentation. Only the remote control is made of plastic. I currently have a dedicated (non-programmable/universal) remote control for my LG TV that works fine except the battery cover is broken and the colored buttons on the unit darken in the sunlight. I bought this remote control as a replacement. The new remote's model number is the same as my old one and appears to be almost identical in button layout and markings. The only difference in appearance is the lack of the "LG" logo that my original remote has. The batteries I used are good but the device is not so I tried using the battery cover from my old remote and I was able to fit it but it doesn't fit like it was made for it. I do not recommend this product.
