Review on 🔧 Reliable and Durable Auto Extra Mevotech MK3134T Ball Joint—Enhance Vehicle Performance by Charlie Wilson

Poor fit and poor performance

Let me start by saying that I have made 5 ball joints all on Jeep Dana 30 axles in various Cherokee, Wrangler and now Grand Cherokee. Of all the brands I've used, these were the worst ball joints I've ever installed. I thought I would break my ball joint installer trying to fit these things in and I've never had this problem before. Ball joints are usually pressed in with a small pump. After the work was completed, the front of the car began to sway. I checked my work. Everything looked like I did when I finished work, so I took a closer look at the ball joints. To my surprise they had at least 1/8 inch up and down play which was more than the old worn out units they replaced after 218,000 miles! I know that "some" play up and down is normal for uppers, but I've never seen play in a new lower ball joint. It feels like I've wasted my day and money. I'd suggest getting Spicer, Moog, or pretty much any other top brand.
