Very disappointing lens. The lens box arrived badly crumpled. It literally fell apart when I picked up the box. He didn't drop the lens or anything like that. When I took the lens out of my pocket. The lens hood just falls apart. The pages were broken and cracked. I thought the damaged lens hood was ok because it's still attached to the lens. But the front lens was broken. To be honest it looked like it had been damaged before and someone was trying to glue it back together. The lens cap was not attached to the front. I'm not sure if my lens had internal problems. Focusing was quick, but sometimes it blocked my A7r iii. The pictures were kind of boring. Sharp but soft. The Sigma 135 1.8 Sony e Mount was significantly sharper and faster in my test. The lens wasn't as heavy as I expected. It was very easy. It's nice to hold in your hands. I will definitely be returning it for damage. I could try to buy another one. Update 12/07/18 Changed my rating to 4 stars. Got a new copy. After testing, the autofocus is much faster and the lens is very sharp. Lens cap and hood fit perfectly. The 1st copy I received was definitely in use and had external and internal damage. As has been said, it wasn't new. It was also purchased from an authorized Sigma dealer. If you have an 85mm lens I wouldn't recommend buying one either. The only difference between this and 85 is like 1-2 steps forward. The focal length is practically non-existent. This lens is for people who have a lot of money to spare.
