They are sufficient but not exclusive.

Can't write how long they last. It's been a month now and they're working great. Very easy to install on my 2008 BMW 550i. Here's what I'm going to say about the brightness: They're as bright as regular incandescent bulbs, day and night. However, I'm giving it 4 stars simply because I was hoping for a brighter light output. They still don't reach the light output of the new OEM LEDs.
