This simple SDR (Software Defined Radio) plugs into my laptop and then uses two free open source software packages to configure it to display planes in my area. Connecting a Micro USB to USB-C adapter also runs ADS-B in apps on my Samsung tablet. The included antenna is reliable and picks up good signals in my area, assuming I live under the SEATAC approach path. I would advise you to show some skill in downloading and setting up open source applications or opt for an easier way to do this on a tablet with a USB adapter. Either way, you should have a lot of fun!
