I usually like these types of bulbs - they use electricity, look good and seem to last for years. This particular model has an issue where the plug reverts to setting #1 (flashing) every time it is turned off. I want the light to be solid, so every time I turn it on I have to go into the yard and push the button on the outlet. I bought three of these strings and all three plugs have the same problem. Luckily this type of flashlight has interchangeable sockets so I was able to use a few extra plugs from different flashlights or else I would have sent them back. I suspect a defective candle batch. You must remember your settings.
